Queen Latifah

If we had even half the conifidence of Queen Latifah – we’d feel like royalty, too.  It’s not her rap, hip-hop, jazz, pop, and Broadway musical career or the fact she’s won or been nominated for every major entertainment award in existence that impresses us.  It’s her no-apologies attitude, her glamorous presence, and the way she gets real but still stays nice.  Latifah is one of those ladies that defies every expectation; she’s even turned the fashion and beauty world on its ear – for the better.   Though her name means “delicate,” she’s a self-described “strong woman.”  Indeed.  Photo: eonline.com
